Angkor Cycling Adventure 4 days $ 390- still bookable!
Four days will only scratch the surface of this amazing place, but cycling may capture the incredible ambiance of this amazing place. Cycle along along rural trails and former dykes passing major temples and sights like the Terraces of Elephants, Ta Prohm Wat Trak temple, Banteay Samre, Siem Reap and of course, the incredible Angkor Wat.
Detailed Tour Itinerary Day 1: Siem Reap - 28 to 38 kilometres Morning: First Discovery Tour (10 - 20 km depending on time). Cycle from Siem Reap to Angkor Wat , following countryside trails and paved roads. Visit c. (Cycling distance 10 to 20 kilometers, depending on time.). Have lunch.
Afternoon: Small Circuit (Cycling distance 18 km). From Bayon to Phnom Bakheng through the Terraces of Elephants and Leper King, Death Gate, Victory Gate, Ta Prohm and Srah Srang. Finish at Phnom Bakheng before sunset. Dinner and overnight at hotel Day 2: Siem Reap -52 kilometers Morning: Banteay Srei and Grand Circuit (31 km). Early transfer to Banteay Srei. Visit then cycle along secondary and mainly unpaved roads to Preah Khan and then Neak Pean. Have lunch. Afternoon: Neak PeanBanteay Kdei - Siem Reap (21 km). After visiting Neak Pean, ride to Banteay Kdei and back to town through Small Circuit road and countryside trail. Dinner and overnight at hotel. Day 3: Siem Reap (46 kilometers)
Morning: Siem ReapBanteay Samre –Ta Prohm (28 km). Ride on small trails through countryside until Banteay Samre. Have lunch. Afternoon: Ta Prohm-West GateWestern Baray (18 km). After lunch ride to Victory gate, West Gate and Western Baray. Boat trip to Western Mebon before transfer back to town. Dinner and overnight at hotel. Day 4: Siem Reap (66 kilometers) Morning : Siem Reap-Wat TrakBakong (Roluos Group)(36 km). Ride on small trails through countryside until Wat Trak temple (Chau Sey Vibol) and Bakong. Have lunch Afternoon: Roluos –Tonle SapSiem Reap(30 km). After visit, ride to Siem Reap River on unpaved roads and trails and then to Tonle Sap lake for a boat trip.
